Billboard Artists Perform in Tuckahoe’s Annual Music Festival

International recording artists hit the stage at this years Tuckahoe Music Festival. The concert, which takes place during the St. Pio Festival weekend, is sponsored solely by the Generoso Pope Foundation and is free to the public.

Sammi Sanchez’s hit singles “Talk” and “Butterflies” can be heard regularly on Radio Disney. Lucas Prata, who had the hit single “And She Said,” made an appearance and introduced his prodigy. Sammi performed two years earlier and could not wait to return to Tuckahoe.

Zach Matari, the “New” Jersey Boy, is a teen Pop/R&B singer/songwriter sensation & musician born and raised in North Jersey with musical talent that is far beyond his years. Zach has opened up for many well-known artists, including Paramore, Fifth Harmony, Motley Crue, Bruno Mars & Bon Jovi. His popularity is quickly on the rise and had a large amount of fans in the audience, some traveling over 4 hours to attend the concert.

The headliners of the show were Nick and Amy from the group Karmin. The duo has topped the Billboard charts multiple times. Their breakout single, “Brokenhearted” peaked at 16 in the US and gained them worldwide fame. “Hello” came in at 62 and “Acapella” made it to 72 throughout the US as well. Karmin has performed on SNL, Ellen, Dancing with the Stars, Good Morning America, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve, as well as Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Fans were able to enter Meet and Greet contests for a chance to meet their favorite artists. Winners of the contest were invited backstage to meet Karmin, Sammi Sanchez and Zach Matari for a VIP photo op.
