Pope Foundation Purchases New Building

David Anthony Pope, President and CEO of the Generoso Pope Foundation, just announced the purchase of a new building.

The former Tuckahoe Village Hall in the center of the village square will now be the new face of the foundation. The purchase of this building will take the foundation into a new era, an era that David is ready to conquer. David is founding the Westchester Italian Cultural Center, a dream of Generoso and his son, Anthony. The cultural center, whose mission is to preserve, promote and celebrate the rich heritage of classic and contemporary Italian culture, will encourage an appreciation of the Italian language, arts and letters, history, cuisine and commerce through educational programs, exhibits and events.

“The building really is beautiful and has so much potential. It features Tuckahoe marble and so many fine details that you cannot find today. We have some renovating to do, but we are so excited to see the final product” David Anthony Pope said in a statement. The foundation also unveiled a new logo, which features the building.

The building will house the offices of the Generoso Pope Foundation, as well as the Westchester Italian Cultural Center. The 10,000 square foot building will house numerous facilities where the Italian culture can flourish.
