The 2013 St Padre Pio Festival is Held

Generoso Pope Foundation Tuckahoe David Music Festival Concert St.Pio

The St. Padre Pio Festival is a yearly event held in the Village of Tuckahoe, NY. The festival honors the life and good works of St. Padre Pio. Tuckahoe’s population, being predominately Italian-American, attends the event as a yearly tradition. An italian spoken mass takes place the first night of the festivities, and the St. Pio statue is carried in a candle-lit procession throughout the town, down to the Generoso Pope Foundation.

On the next day of the event, a free concert is held for all those who attend. 103.5 KTU’s Hollywood Hamilton hosted the event, which featured international artists. September “Cry For You,” Lasgo “Something” & “Alone,” Lucas Prata “And She Said,” Angelo Venuto “Sweet Caroline,” as well as Radio Disney Artist Sammi Sanchez delighted the crowd on Saturday night.
